After several months, all my school things (hello again, my trusty tools) have finally arrived from Florence. We got the space ready (ie livable) while waiting for my shipments (which were horribly delayed), and then a solid week of meticulous organization and sheer will paid off with a pretty decent–albeit sparse/basic/makeshift–workshop.
The space we’re currently using is borrowed, so we couldn’t make any renovations or major changes, but we were able to work around it (there were lots of fixtures and storage boxes and whatnot, and the place hasn’t been occupied in decades).
Mostly I’m just excited to be able to get back to work already.
